DISCOVERING A NEW WAY TO HEAL INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS

Way back, following an unresolved urinary tract infection, I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis (IC). And truthfully, it had a totally devastating effect on my life. Check out my story here.

Desperate for a solution, I tried healing with conventional medicine but it had no effect on my symptoms. I quickly realised that in order to restore balance in my bladder, I had to dig deep and address the root causes of my painful bladder symptoms (not just cut out lists of foods). 

I sought help from experts in nutrition and used supplements tailored to my needs. I did loads of pelvic floor therapy, acupuncture, and worked a lot on mindset too.

Armed with this expert guidance, I felt empowered to finally swap fearing food for befriending the best foods for bladder health. I discovered a new path to heal bladder pain. And now I get out of bed to help women, like you, who’ve realised that:

I'm a Registered Nutritional Therapist with ten years experience having completed a 3-year post graduate Diploma in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy. I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is recognised by the Department of Health. 

As an Accredited Intimate Ecologist and member of the Human Microbiome Guild, I am devoted to practicing sustainable stewardship of vaginal and urinary microbiomes.

I'm a published co-author in this academic paper evaluating weight loss programmes. My experience extends to consultancy work for BBC Scotland TV and Radio, the cancer charity Rainbow Valley, Nuffield Health, Peppy Health, and Revive Yoga Breaks.
